I knew I wanted to be involved with property investment/renovations/development since I was a teenager.

I left school and went into a bank job where I dealt with clients that had made massive wealth for themselves through owning and holding property. From there I joined the Defence Force at age 18. I purchased my first property at age 21 and fell in love with renovating.

I entered the real estate world on paid employment in 2003 as a property manager. Through this and running a small business on the side, I have bought and sold properties around Australia since. Always trying to learn more through reading books, going to meetups, joining groups. I have studied under other educators and unfortunately have made some purchases and finance decisions which have really slowed down my progress. No regrets though, it's all part of the learning process that we are here for.

Once I joined Positive Real Estate I received the guidance, support and education to start making the changes needed in my own portfolio to create wealth into my own retirement, which I did! At 50 I sold my PPR, paid down some debt and retired. A year into it and I couldn't wait to get back into paid employment and back into education and building an even better property portfolio.

I would like to help others on a journey that I truly believe in. Creating a safe and comfortable future through property can be done with the right know-how and access to great support teams in finance, legal, management and deals. I found all this in PRE which is why I was delighted to join the team and have the opportunity to help others.
